Unfortunately, due to two attacks of seasonal influenza, Howard and Dan have not been able to get together to record the third episode of the podcast in time for our now-traditional release on the first Sunday of the month. The episode will hopefully be recorded this week and released shortly after that, but the chaps didn't want to leave you with nothing at all to tide you over, so here is a short extra for you to listen to...
Welcome to The Lee/Cushing Podcast, a monthly show in which Howard and Dan express their love for and knowledge of British horror cinema and, in particular, the works of two legendary and much-missed screen actors, Peter Cushing OBE (1913-1994) and Sir Christopher Lee (1922-2015). 'Masters of the macabre' and the best of friends, these two distinguished actors appeared together in more than 20 films, and each episode of our podcast will focus on one such movie. For the sake of variety, we'll also be discussing other British horror films, drawn at random from The Bag of Death once an episode, and showcasing some examples of the music of the genre in James Bernard's Jukebox, at all times aiming for a light-hearted yet informed style.
A new episode will be released on the first Sunday of every month starting August 2016 and will be available from iTunes and YouTube as well as this website.

Your hosts, Howard and Dan. Although in reality a pair of feckless actors and reprobates, their aim to cultivate an entirely misleading air of sinister mystery and gravitas has been aided here by top photographer Shay Rowan (who was paid in washers for his pains). To extend the sense of mystery still further, we're not even going to tell you which one is Howard and which one is Dan.
